Overview
BarcodeForge is a barcode generation and label printing application developed by Sway Integrations. It is distributed in two forms: (1) the Clover App Market build for use on Clover point-of-sale devices, and (2) the Google Play build for standalone Android phones and tablets. This Privacy Policy covers both.
Information We Collect
Barcode values, label text, prices, imported inventory files, and print history are processed locally on your device and stored only in the App's private storage. This data is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Two optional identifiers may be sent to Sway Integrations if — and only if — you enter them in the App's Settings screen: your email address, and your Clover Merchant ID. These are transmitted to our entitlement service at swayintegrations.com/api/barcodeforge/entitlement for the sole purpose of checking whether your account is eligible for a comped or subscription-based unlock. We do not use them for marketing, analytics, or any other purpose. You can clear them at any time by editing the fields in Settings.
We do not collect names, payment information, location data, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
Clover Merchant Data (Clover build only)
The Clover App Market build requests access to your Clover merchant account to operate within the Clover App Market environment and to fetch your inventory items for label printing. We access only the inventory data necessary to display and print labels. We do not store, transmit, or share your Clover merchant data, customer data, transaction data, or inventory data with any third party.
Google Play Billing (Google Play build only)
The Google Play build offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock unlimited label printing. All payment processing is handled by Google Play; Sway Integrations does not receive, store, or process your payment details. Google may share the purchase-token confirmation with the App so it can grant your unlock; that confirmation is stored only on your device.
Printer Communication
When you print a label, the App communicates directly with your printer over your local network (WiFi), USB, or Bluetooth connection, or generates a PDF sent to Android's standard print framework. No print data is transmitted to external servers or third parties.
Data Storage
Barcode history, imported inventory, and settings are stored locally on your device only. This data is not backed up to external servers and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Third-Party SDKs
The App uses the Brother Print SDK (Android), used solely to communicate with Brother label printers, and ZXing, an open-source barcode generation library that operates entirely on-device. The Google Play build also includes the Google Play Billing Library, used solely to process the optional Pro unlock. No third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are included.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by business owners and merchants. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version available through the Clover App Market.

Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using BarcodeForge ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
Description of Service
BarcodeForge is a barcode generation and label printing application developed by Sway Integrations for Clover point-of-sale devices. The App allows merchants to generate barcodes in standard US formats, sync with Clover inventory, and print labels to Brother QL-series label printers or any standard office printer via PDF sheet printing.
License
Subject to these Terms, Sway Integrations grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your Clover device(s) for your internal business purposes.
Permitted Use
You may use the App to generate barcodes for products you own or are authorized to label, sync and print labels from your Clover inventory, print labels for your business inventory, and manage your barcode history on-device.
Prohibited Use
You may not use the App to generate barcodes intended to deceive or defraud; resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App; reverse-engineer or modify the App; or use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
Barcode Accuracy
You are solely responsible for ensuring that barcode values are accurate and authorized. UPC-A and EAN barcodes require registration with GS1 (gs1.org) for use in retail commerce. The App does not register barcodes on your behalf.
Printer Compatibility
The App is designed for use with Brother QL-800 and QL-820NWB label printers for direct label printing, and supports sheet printing to any Android-compatible printer via PDF. We do not warrant compatibility with all printer configurations or network environments.
Subscription and Fees
The App is offered at $9.99/month with a 14-day free trial through the Clover App Market. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. The free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SWAY INTEGRATIONS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWAY INTEGRATIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
